Laqueta moved to California in 1976 from South Carolina. She was born in Arkansas to sharecropper parents. She is the mother of three daughters, whom she raised alone. Her oldest daughter, Darla, graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University and has worked in the entertainment business for over twenty years. Her middle daughter, Deana, works at Bank of America. Her youngest daughter, Kendra, is a pediatrician at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. Laqueta has been blessed with nine grandchildren, all of whom live in Simi Valley. Laqueta’s name and reputation say it all. Laqueta is known for her individual round-the-clock attention to each client.
